Material

The lamp shade is 3D printed with Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a sturdy material derived from renewable resources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.

FAQs

Can I replace the light bulb?

Yes, you can use any LED bulb in the lamp. You can follow the instruction below to replace the bulb:

  1. Unplug the lamp. Hold the base with one hand. Use the other hand to gently wiggle and pull up the shade.
  2. Unscrew the light bulb and install the new light bulb. Use LED bulbs ONLY as incandescent bulbs will melt the shade. We recommend using a 40 or 60 watt equivalent, 2200k-2700k LED bulb for a warm ambience.
  3. Align the three dots on the bottom rim of the shade and the inside of the base. Gently push down the shade to the base.

Can I use a smart LED bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with Philips Hue and LIFX smart bulbs. To use a smart LED bulb, please leave the dimmer at the highest setting and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at info@terralabs.design.

Is the lamp cordless?

The light is not cordless. Corded lights are less prone to malfunction compared to cordless lights, which may encounter issues with battery life, charging, or connectivity over time.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 6 feet long with the dimmer switch about 1 feet from the plug.

Love it! Exactly as expected. The cord is very high quality as well and it gives a great lantern-like light for our bedroom which is exactly what I wanted

This lamp is perfect for ones' nightstand. It emits a beautiful warm glow. The opaque shade and green base lend a serene aesthetic to the room. It reminds me a little of a camping lantern, which I adore. I'm very happy that it's made of bio-polymers, and unlike glass, won't break if I ever accidentally knock it over. The gradations for dimming the bulb are perfect so that you can go from brighter light during the day, to reading in the evening, to softer light as you get ready to go to sleep.
