Can I edit/cancel my order?

If the product has not been produced or shipped, we will be able to change or cancel your order. You can send an email to to request a change or cancellation.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder if it is not showing up in your main inbox. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, you can get in touch at


When will my order arrive?

Eeach product is typically made to order. Depending on our demand and capacity, it will take 3 to 10 business days* to prepare your order. 

*The processing time could go up in the event of supply delay. Please refer to your order confirmation email for the most up to date expected delivery date.

After the order is shipped, the shipping time varies from 3 to 7 business days depending on the shipping method and the destination. If you have not received any updates before your expected delivery date, please email us at

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the item you’ve ordered and the shipment location. All orders are shipped out from California. For a single lamp, delivery typically ranges from $7 to $10 within the West Coast, and about $10 to $15 for the rest of the U.S. mainland.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking number which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Return & Exchange

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, you can request an exchange within 14 days of receiving your original order. Email us at to let us know the items you would like to return and exchange for. 

What is your return policy?

If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, you can request a return by logging through our account portal with the email that you used to purchase. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note:

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.
  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and received within 30 days of delivery.
  • For each returned item, there will be a 10% restock fee.
  • Final sale items and shipping charges are non-refundable.


We kindly recommend returning the items in their original packaging to reduce packing waste.

Where is my refund?

After your order is canceled or refunded, you should expect to see the refund in your original payment method in up to 10 business days.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email us at

If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return in accordance to our return policy.

How long does it take to return an item?

This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within 3 days after receiving the item, but it can take up to 10 business days for your payment provider to process the refund into your original payment method.


Are your lamps cordless?

No, our lamps are equipped with a 6 feet cable with a dimmer switch at about 1 foot from the plug. Corded lights are less prone to malfunction compared to cordless lights, which may encounter issues with battery life, charging, or connectivity over time.

How long is the light cable?

The cable is 6 feet long with a dimmer switch at about 1 foot from the plug.

Can I change the light bulb?

Yes, you can change the light bulb in your Terra Labs Design lamp. However, it's important to use LED bulbs only, as other types of bulbs may emit excessive heat that could damage the product.

Can I use a smart bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with most smart LED bulbs. If you want to use a smart LED bulb, please leave the dimmer at the highest setting and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at

Are your lamps dimmable?

Yes, each lamp is equipped with a dimmer switch.

What are Blemishes?

Due to the nature of the 3D printing process, sometimes the printed items have blemishes like burnt marks and subtle lines. Despite these aesthetic imperfections, they function perfectly and are typicallyed offered at over 40% off the original price. You can find the Blemish Sales at

Please note that Blemishes are sold as final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. We thoroughly inspect each blemished item to ensure that any imperfections are cosmetic only and do not impact its performance or durability.

How are your products made?

We leverage 3D printing technology to create unique and customizable lighting fixtures. 3D printing is inherently a low energy process that enables production on demand and has little excess waste compared to traditional manufacturing methods such as injection molding. Our approach involves utilizing both existing 3D printers available in the market and pioneering our automated printing technology to enhance overall productivity.

What materials are used in your products?

All 3D printed components in our products are crafted with polylactic acid (PLA), a biodegradable and plant-based plastic commonly sourced from renewable materials such as corn or beet. This material has a reduced environmental footprint compared to traditional plastics derived from fossil fuels. 


What are your sustainability commitments?

As a small business, we try our best to reduce wastes.

  • Our production method, 3D printing, is inherently a low-energy method compared to traditional injection molding.
  • In terms of our packaging, we emply no plastic materials and opt for smaller size of package insert to reduce waste.
  • We also have a recycling program where we take back any damaged or non-functional Terra Labs Design products.

Can I recycle your products at the end of their lifespan?

Our products are designed for disassembly, meaning that they can be easily taken apart when they reach the end of their lifespan. By separating the different components of the products, we are able to upcycle, recycle, or dispose them correctly.

In general, the 3D printed parts are made with Polylactic acid (PLA), a plant-based polymer. This material is generally not recyclable through residential recycling programs. That's why we have established our own recycling program, where you can send the products back to us in the event that the products became damaged or non-functional throughout their usage. 

For each product recycled through us, you will receive a $5 store credit.
