The lamp shade is 3D printed with Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a sturdy material derived from renewable resources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.

FAQ

Can I replace the light bulb?

Yes, you can use any LED bulb in the lamp. You can follow the instruction below to replace the bulb:

  1. Unplug the lamp. Unscrew the base from the bottom and remove the lampshade.
  2. Unscrew the light bulb and Install the new light bulb. Use LED bulbs ONLY as incandescent bulbs will melt the shade. We recommend using a 40 or 60 watt equivalent, 2200k-2700k LED bulb for a warm ambience.
  3. Align the holes of the base and the lampshade. Reinstall the pieces back with screws.

Can I use a smart LED bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with Philips Hue and LIFX smart bulbs. To use a smart LED bulb, please leave the dimmer at the highest setting and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at info@terralabs.design.

Is the lamp cordless?

The light is not cordless. Corded lights are less prone to malfunction compared to cordless lights, which may encounter issues with battery life, charging, or connectivity over time.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 6 feet long with the dimmer switch about 1 feet from the plug.

I love this lamp. I was hesitant that it was made to order but it was well worth the wait and its cool that its made in California. You can tell there's a lot of attention the the design and the components. Going to buy for my friends

Cord ruins this lamp

I like this lamp a lot, but I think the design is ruined by the cord. The cord is not featured in any product photos and I probably wouldn’t have purchased if I had seen it. It is white and very thick, much thicker than a standard lamp cord. The switch for turning on/dimming the lamp is also on the cord rather than on the lamp, so you need to be able to access this to turn it on. This leaves me in a situation where I want to hide as much of the cord behind furniture as possible, but I can’t because I need to access the switch. Wish it just came with a thin black cord and a switch/dimmer somewhere on the lamp itself.

Super unique lamp that gives the warmest glow to my bedroom— I’m super pleased! Stellar customer service as well. Cozy and Cool

These lamps look great, and made well, and are priced well. I love the MiUSA aspect, not enough people talking about that.
The purple lamp I got in particular is such a clever design, it really takes advantage of the 3D printed aspect of the design to do something unique and original.
