Amoeba is a funky table lamp designed and crafted in Southern California. Inspired by cellular division, the lamp brings a natural and exciting energy to any space. Made with renewable biopolymers, this sleek barrel-shaped lamp with organic circle cutouts comes pre-installed with a warm white amber LED Bulb. 

Dimensions: 10” H x 4.75” W x 4.75” D

The lamp shade is 3D printed with Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a sturdy material derived from renewable resources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.

Avoid exposure to excessive heat.

Can I replace the light bulb?

Yes, you can use any LED bulb in the lamp. You can follow the instruction below to replace the bulb:

  1. Unscrew the outer shell and inner diffuser from the bottom. Remove both components.
  2. Unscrew the light bulb and Install the new light bulb. Use LED bulbs ONLY as incandescent bulbs will melt the shade. We recommend using a 40 or 60 watt equivalent, 2200k-2700k LED bulb for a warm ambience.
  3. Align the cut off in the inner diffuser and outer shell with the cable. Reinstall the pieces back with screws.

Can I use a smart LED bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with Philips Hue and LIFX smart bulbs. To use a smart LED bulb, please leave the dimmer at the highest setting and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at info@terralabs.design.

Is the lamp cordless?

The light is not cordless. Corded lights are less prone to malfunction compared to cordless lights, which may encounter issues with battery life, charging, or connectivity over time.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 6 feet long with the dimmer switch about 1 feet from the plug.

Very cool lamp! Might get another one. Wish you have more color choices though. And maybe bigger sizes. Otherwise, love the piece and I highly recommend it. I did have to prop it with a vase in the bottom to prop it up a bit.
