The lamp shade is 3D printed with Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a sturdy material derived from renewable resources, such as corn, sugar cane, and sugar beet.

FAQ

Can I replace the light bulb?

Yes, you can use any LED bulb in the lamp. You can follow the instruction below to replace the bulb:

  1. Unplug the lamp. Unscrew the base from the bottom and remove the lampshade.
  2. Unscrew the light bulb and Install the new light bulb. Use LED bulbs ONLY as incandescent bulbs will melt the shade. We recommend using a 40 or 60 watt equivalent, 2200k-2700k LED bulb for a warm ambience.
  3. Align the holes of the base and the lampshade. Reinstall the pieces back with screws.

Can I use a smart LED bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with Philips Hue and LIFX smart bulbs. To use a smart LED bulb, please leave the dimmer at the highest setting and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at info@terralabs.design.

Is the lamp cordless?

The light is not cordless. Corded lights are less prone to malfunction compared to cordless lights, which may encounter issues with battery life, charging, or connectivity over time.

How long is the cable?

The cable is 6 feet long with the dimmer switch about 1 feet from the plug.

Its very large lamp with a light feel in the hands. The design is great, with a nice dimmer switch with ample cord length. The only issue is the bulb (whether it be the one it came with or the compatible Hue E26 Bulb), the light is installed through the bottom of the lamp right side up . So the bulb looks like it shines brighter on one side of the lamp and the other much dimmer. Theres also some clear ridges from the 3d orint inside the lamp, but its a minimal issue that comes with most products. I still love the unique look, maybe further down the road a smaller bulb can fit through the back of the lamp so it sits flush in the middle for an almost even amount of brightness
